Hello i would like to know if someone could let me know of any credit cards with a low interest rate on cash advance (withdrawing and such) and purchases for people with or without bad credit?
Thank you very much, any information will help my sister out.

Looking for credit cards with low interest on cash advance and purchase and given to people with bad credit?
most of the credit cards for people with bad credit will carry some fees. If you have good credit you will probabaly not have to pay any fees at all. Because of the fees attached to bad credit cards the interest rate is usually pretty low, around 10% for some. Of course with good credit the interest is also pretty low with out the fees. You can view cards and compare them for both good or bad credit at http://creditcardwarehouseonline.com It will show interest rates and year fees if applicable.

Reply:Credit cards are very difficult to get if you have bad credit. Some banks will give you a credit card without doing a credit check if you have been a current customer for at least 6 - 12 months and have a good history with them.
Wizard's credit card is excellent for cash advances because it has no cash advance fee. I use a Virgin Card for my cash advances (max $50 fee even for $20k+) then do a balance transfer to AMEX for a 6 month intro rate of 6.99%. Switch it back and forth every 6 months and pay below home loan rates for credit card debt!

Pay in cash for a plane ticket at the airport?
I was just wondering if I can go to the airport and buy a round-trip ticket and pay in cash?
Or do I have to go to a travel agency?
Thank you!
Pay in cash for a plane ticket at the airport?
You can definitely pay by cash at the airport. Be prepared for extra screening of your bags and your person though. The last flight I was on someone had paid cash for a ticket. A little before boarding time TSA Offcials and local law enforcement came down and did a search of him. They made him show ID, his ticket, they emptied out his carry-on and went through it (at one of those little grey tables they have near the departures gates), and they did another pat down and wand search of his person.
If you have other means to pay, it is probably better (will save embarrassment), or see if you can get someone to put it on their credit card and you will pay them back.
Reply:of course! get there early! or call airline and reserve or check to make sure you will get a seat!
where are you taking me ....ahhhh, the Bahamas. .Spain. ..Russia. ...Netherlands....?

Reply:You will be paying at the air fares cost without any discounts. Have you tried to find a plane ticket online. There are many sites you can find air fares such as:
travelocity.com
orbitz.com
If all you have is cash I guess those two will be your only options. Or maybe you can book it and then pay in cash.
Reply:yo can pay in cash, no biggy

Airports do have ticketing office... Just two days ago, i went to the airport %26amp; bought a ticket, same day flight too. No questions asked for as long as you pay and you have the ID... after all thats business as usual.
Travel agencies are made for convenience of booking a flight or a vacation ahead but it doesn't mean you cannot buy your ticket at the airport ticketing office.
Have a nice trip!
Reply:hey! thanks for replying to my question.
i don't think i have to guts to do that though..
if i did end up texting that, what should i say?
thanks
Reply:You defiantly can but they find that suspicious so you may have to go thru extra screening at the gates and security.

How much cash can I withdrawl from my checking account at one time ?
Is there a limit so how much money I can take out in cash without having them ask me what I need it for or anything like that ???
How much cash can I withdrawl from my checking account at one time ?
It depends on the bank. Sometimes they have a limit according to the type of account but usually is around 300-500 (from an ATM). You can also call your bank and ask to set an amount of how much you can withdraw.
Reply:How much money are you withrawing??? anyhow they have no business asking you what you need the money for it is your money you put it in there. If you are worried make an anonimous call to the bank.
Reply:If you go inside the bank and talk to a teller, you can take any amount you want out of your checking account as long as the funds show as available. Regardless of the amount, no one at the bank should be asking you what the money is for. Using the ATM will guarantee that nobody asks what the money is for, but ATMs have daily limits and you'd only be able to get somewhere between $200 and $500 depending on your bank's ATMs.
However, if you take out a large amount, the bank will fill out papers concerning this. For example, while it is not required by law, my bank will fill out a paper if you withdrawl more than $3000 in cash. This helps determine if there is any suspicious activity and if the bank needs to fill out the Suspicious Activity Report.
If you withdrawl more than $10,000 in cash (please call ahead of time so the bank will be prepared) the bank will have to fill out a Currency Transaction Report, which is required by law. For this you'll have to let the bank copy your I.D. and give them your occupation. Without either, they'll refuse the withdrawl because these items are required to be filled in on the CTR by law.
Reply:If you are writing a check, you can write it for the amount in your acct. Most ATM's only allow $200 - $300 (depending on your bank). As for asking what you want it for, that is none of their business and they shouldn't even ask (I can't think of a time they asked me why, even when I took a large amount out). Now if you have a lot of money and want cash, you may have to wait a bit for them to get that much cash, I do not know how much money they keep on hand. I know that if you wanted to take your million out in cash you would have to wait for it.
Reply:My banker friend said that anyone who withdraws $10,000 in cash (or more) needs to be reported on a particular form, accompanied by your identification, your social security number, etc. I think she called it a CTR, but I just googled "ctr report bank cash" and found nothing helpful. It's to prevent money laundering. You can look up "suspicious transaction" too, for more info.

If i cash in a cd early, how long does it take to get the money?
If I have cd's worth 300,000 in a bank in Knoxville, TN, and decide to cash in early, how long will it take to get my money? Do I have to wait for the actual money to arrive at the bank or will the funds be available once the money is wired? They have been giving me the runaround for 4 mos.
If i cash in a cd early, how long does it take to get the money?
First, look at the "terms and conditions" printed on the CD.
The money, after being "wired" to your bank(institution) should be immediately available to you, depending on your bank's "terms and conditions".
A runaround? Call the TN State Banking Commission.
Reply:When you cash in a cd, you should get the money the same day or no later than the next day. Keep in mind that you will have an early withdrawl penalty for cashing it in early. You should not be getting any "run around" and I am curious why you have been waiting four months. How long was the term on the original cd??

There's always babysitting, house-sitting, house cleaning and stuff, but sometimes jobs are posted where a person could actually study and do whatever, too. I don't know whether you've applied for financial aide, but it's usually pretty easy to qualify for. Pell grants are the best and usually the easiest to get. Grants don't have to be repaid, so if you haven't applied, hey, ask about it.
Good luck!!!

Reply:The most guaranteed way to make extra money is by holding an extra job with a commercial building (such as mcdonalds, fry's electronics, and others).
However, there is another way to attack this financially, which is to reduce the bills themselves. You can lower your electic or water bills by conserving. You can lower you phone bill by using the phoneless. There are also financial aid agencies for people who are struggling.
You can also save money by not using a car at all, and entirely going on bike.
Another way to find extra money is through investments, but some investments are very risky such as junk bonds, speculative stocks, etc. Some of the safer investments are bonds available from the treasury, or stocks are steady and pays well in dividends.

How long does a landlord have to cash a tenant's rent check?
Is there a minimum amount of time a landlord has to cash a tenant's check? It's been two weeks before my landlord has cashed my monthly's rent. I feel that when I send the check, they should cash it immediately so:
a.) I know they have received it, and
b.) so it's squared away and two month's rent isn't taken out at once.
How long does a landlord have to cash a tenant's rent check?
Most standard bank checks are good for 90 days. There are no laws... nor can you force the landlord to cash the check when you see fit. If you keep a balanced checkbook...it really should not make a difference when he cashes it.
Reply:They have however long the check is good for to cash it.
If your bank honors checks for 6 months, then they have 6 months. If your bank honors checks for a year, then they have a year.
Once you write a check, that amount of money is no longer yours.
Why would you care if 1 month, 2 months, 4 months or whatever are taken out at once? Once you write the check it comes out of your checkbook balance. When the bank finally pays it is not your concern.
Reply:Sometimes landlords wait until they have all the rent checks to go to the back all at once. Just call and see when they will be going. Shouldnt really matter if you balance your checkbook, its money already spent.
Reply:Any time you write a check the person you write it to has 90 days to cash it.
Reply:pay with a money order so there's no doubt about the status of payment!!!

Plus they give you an option to request a check to your own name under balance transfer term. You can use it for anything , including deposit into your bank account .

Then try a larger amount. They may charge a balance transfer fee but still get the 0%. It has worked for me in the past.

What are the best online poker rooms for cash paying freerolls?
Just that. I'm trying to figure out which sites have cash paying freerolls the most frequently and also the largest payouts. Thanks in advance!!!
What are the best online poker rooms for cash paying freerolls?
Largest payouts can be difficult to find as usually they are one offs.
For a list of current freerolls take a look at http://free-bankroll.co.uk/poker_freerol...
Whilst you are there try the no deposit bonuses on the homepage. They are usually better to do than freerolls.
Reply:PokerStars runs Freerolls every hour. If you finish in the top 99, you gain entry into a weekly freeroll on Saturday or Sunday. They play all different types of poker during the freerolls. Best of Luck ; )
Reply:Full Tilit usually has the most the freerolls, but most the prizes are entry into other cash paying tournaments.
Reply:absoulte poker is a good site. They have freeroll (rebuys) and not as many players as pokerstars. another good site is buggsy club they play for bbp points but you can convert to real money.
Reply:You will find a list of the sites that I play at that offer cash for freeroll tourney winners at http://GamblingReviewsSite.com/pokertips You will also find free poker tips, articles and tools.

How can I buy real estate without much cash?
I don't have a whole lot of cash to use as a down payment. How can I stop renting and buy a place of my own in the near future? Is this even possible without signing on for a ridiculous interest rate?
How can I buy real estate without much cash?
Slim Jim,
You can get 100% financing and typically have the seller contribute up to 3% of the selling price of the house to your closing costs. The only requirement would be that you'd have to have $500 of your own money into the transaction.
The interest rates are very comparable to 80% or less financing; there is a .5% charge 97% %26amp; 100% financing (usually an 1/8 or 1/4 more in interest rate).
The tough part at the high LTV's can be mortgage insurance.
The ways around this is:
1. VA programs and paying the funding fee (good deal)
2. 80/20 loans, usually a savings in payments over MI
3. Community Mortgage programs -- This is a great secret that most of us lenders have available. If you take a home buying/home owning course I have programs that I can offer that have reduced MI. The savings can be big.
Search for My Community Mortgage programs, or if in FL feel free to email me, and I'll work with you.
Hope this helps,
Chris
Reply:You can try to get approval for an FHA loan which allows you to bring as little as 3% down. Also, check the internet for First Time Home Buyer's programs. There are alot out there.
Reply:Nope you can get the good rates if you have good to excellent credit even if you go 100% financing. There are so many loan programs for the purchase market that it would take forever to go through them, but to simply answer your question Yes you can buy a home with no money down.
Reply:I suggest 80% first mortgage and a 20% second mortgage, the only cash you will need will be for closing costs. And that dollar amount depends on how much you're borrowing.

How would you make some extra cash?
I work 40 hours a week as a computer programmer. Making a long story short... I need extra cash to pay off some huge bills. I am not willing to quit my current job, ask for a raise (I just got one actually), bid into another position in my company, or sell anything of mine. I would like your thoughts on how to come up with the extra money needed to try and relinquish debt. How would you do it?
How would you make some extra cash?
Lots of people work multiple jobs. You can keep your day job, and work at Best Buy or Circuit City (or Office Depot or Staples) in their computer department evenings %26amp; weekends. Or you could cut grass in your neighborhood; that's something that can usually be scheduled around other activities.
Every retail and restaurant needs evening and weekend help. If you make it clear up front that you already have a day job, they'll work you in for the hours you're available.
Good luck!

What is an ideal amount of cash to take to Europe?
I'm going to countries which use the Euro for 12 days and countries which use the Pound for 7 days. I am taking a credit card but how much of each currency in cash would be good?
What is an ideal amount of cash to take to Europe?
if you take you credit card you dont really have to decide. It's hard to say, the prices are different in every country, e.g. in Germany you can get a really nice meal in a restaurant for 15 euro, in Spain or France is more expensive, than again Poland or Czech Republic is cheaper. Which countries are you going to and do you plan partying a lot?
I'll try giving you examples: Netherlands, Belgium, France: a 0,5l bottle of cola around 1 -1,50 euro, candy bar 1 euro, hamburger in McDonald around 1 euro., maybe a little bit more. I'd say 30 or 40 a day would be just fine. UK 30 Pounds a day, Ireland is in Euro zone and a little bit more expensive then the other countries.
Hope that helps!

How can I pay my rent and get cash back?
You know how some credit cards have cashback bonuses for purchases? I want to find a way to do that for my rent... But writing cash advance checks don't count towards this, and my landlord doesn't accept credit cards. Does anybody know of a checking account program or billpay system that would give cashback rewards on paying my rent?
How can I pay my rent and get cash back?
I don't think such a program currently exists. Sorry!

How much cash can I give without tax?
How much cash can I give my grandson without tax for him or me?
How much cash can I give without tax?
It is not so easy as Answerer # 2 makes it seem.
First, the tax would be to you. Yes this is double taxation as you already paid taxes on your money when you earned it. We really need to quit voting these same idiots back into office.
If you pay for tuition or education directly, the tax does not apply. If it is for healthcare, again does not apply.
Also, if you are married you can give your grandson up to $22,000 without the tax coming into play.
However, there is a annual/lifetime Gift Tax Exclusion. So you may or may not end up paying the tax, you would have to file the return. But then you need to look at the ramifications because it could affect your estate taxes too. If you are planning on a large gift, go see your tax or estate professional they will help you out.
Stupid IRS %26amp; Government, they get all the money.
Reply:give him a money order you pay nothing
Reply:You can $12,000 per year without paying a gift tax. If you are married your spouse can also give $12,000 without paying a gift tax.
Reply:As Robert (answer #2) said the limit in 2006 is $12,000 before there are any gift tax consequences. As Gem (answer #3) said, it is not that simple, Assuming you give cash in excess of $12,000 to a single individual in a year, you are required to file a gift tax return. There is a 'Unified Credit' that allows $1,000,000 (last I checked) of reported gifts over your lifetime before you actually pay tax. In addition, if you pay tuition and/or medical expences directly on your grandsons behalf, this does not count toward either limit. The liked below is an IRS page about gift taxes. If you are able to give enough to be conserned about these rules, if is worth your time and money to consult a professional.

Where can I recycle aluminum for cash in WA or closer areas?
Ive been trying to find a location to get cash for aluminum in my area (Silverdale, WA 98383). Can anyone help out with a place or a site to help me out?
Where can I recycle aluminum for cash in WA or closer areas?
You just need to find the local recyclers. There are a number of different places in Washington, but I live up in Edmonds and I'm not sure about the Silverdale area, specifically. Just look up aluminum recycling in Google for your area.

What is the accounting treatment if the expenses to be replenish is higher than the petty cash fund stablish?
My question is about accounting with a particular topic in the petty cash fund. The treatment should be applicable here in the Philippines.
What is the accounting treatment if the expenses to be replenish is higher than the petty cash fund stablish?
can't be possible. If you start with $100 in petty cash fund, but you have $90 in receipts, but all the cah is gone..then you are missin a receipt and someone either stole the money or forgot to get a receipt so you can just likely call it a $10 miscellaneous expense to even it out to the $100 petty cash fund.
If you started with a fund of $100 and have $110 in receipts
then then the petty cash fund needs to be increased to $110
first..and then the $110 in expenses are written off.
Reply:All accounting is a logical flow of funds.
If the petty cash fund is $200, and the petty cash vouchers equals $250, then petty cash owes someone $50.
You cannot have negative cash, it is physically impossible.
Someone took cash out of their own pocket, and put a voucher in the petty cash boxes with the intention of being repaid.
petty cash $200
bank $200
to set up petty cash
expenses $250
petty cash $200
due to ??? $50
to record vouchers
petty cash $200
bank $200

Should I cash in my retirement accounts to pay off my credit cards?
I am deep in debt because of bad choices I made in life, a divorce and being unable to work for several months because of a medical condition. I recently graduated and I am looking for a fulltime job. (Once I get a job, I do not believe I will earn enough to ever pay off my bills. I'm paying 32% interest on some of my credit cards.) In the meantime I cannot afford to pay the minimum balance on my credit cards. Should I go bankrupt or should I cash in all of my retirement accounts to pay off these bills? Thank you for your input.
Should I cash in my retirement accounts to pay off my credit cards?
NO!! You will get penalized about 40% for taking out the money.
You may not be bankrupt- Read: The Total Money Makeover for tips on how to deal with debt. You may need to sell everything (car, home, toys, etc) but you may not be bankrupt.
If you are paying alimony or child support it may be worth the money to file a motion to modify your order.
Reply:No
Reply:The bankruptcy could impact your job search adversely. Call your creditors and tell them you have no choice but to file bankruptcy. They will be very eager to talk. Tell them you need your interest reduced to 10%, and the balance cut in 1/2. Be polite, but very firm
Reply:No, not if you can avoid it. You will be penalized and pay a lot in taxes. I would only use this option as a last resort - see if you can draw a loan against your retirement plans and pay off the high interest credit cards.
Reply:NEVER!
Avoid this at all cost1
Find other ways to generate revenue to pay off your debt!
Do not go bankrupt, you WILL get out of this mess in the long term!
Reply:Depends on your motive. If it is simply to not have credit card bills the answer is no. If you would use the money saved to save then you might think about it. Do the math. How much interest are you earning? How much are you paying? Most people who do what you are considering end up in the same situation again except with less retirement and the same if not more credit card bills.
Reply:Check into Consumer credit counseling. Me %26amp; my husband just set this up. It helps you pay off your debt quicker %26amp; with less out of pocket for you. They work with your credit card companies %26amp; come up with a plan for you. THey usually will reduce your interest rate (if yours is now 32% they may get it reduced to 10%). Taking money out of your retirement fund should be the last thing you do! Bankrpuptcy has helped alot of people. But, I think you should try to check out some sort of credit counseling. Go to the yahoo search engine %26amp; input 'consumer credit counseling services', it will most likely bring up some in your area. Good luck, being in debt is the worst thing. Especially after the problems you have alraedy had to deal with. I wish you the best

Is participating in research studies a good way to earn extra cash? What are some things to look out for?
I am looking to earn a little extra cash. Do you think signing up for a database that has research studies willing to pay cash is a good idea? The database has a subscription fee, but it is relatively low and powered by the NRG, the national research group. Are they a legit organization? Please be respectful in your answers.

Can I cash and keep the money from an auto insurance co. made out to me and the lien holder?
I have damage to my car, but it's not totalled, just needs a replacement cover for above the wheel. The claims check is written out to me and the lien holder which is a bank. Am I able to keep the cash for other purposes, like bills, instead of getting my car repaired? Or is it required to fix the car b/c it's endorsed to both of us?
Can I cash and keep the money from an auto insurance co. made out to me and the lien holder?
If it's made out to two payees, both will have to endorse it before the bank will cash it. Ask the lien holder, they will probably tell you to endorse it and send it to them, and they will make out a check for you to use to get the repairs done. Since they are the legal owner of the car, yes, they can insist the repairs be done.
Reply:No, You cannot take the money and use it for other things. The insurance check is for the repairs of the car which is still owned by the bank....not you. The coverage you have is to protect the interest of the lender assuring the property will be kept in good condition until the loan is paid off.
Reply:You can probably cash it, but if the car gets repossesed by the bank you will be responsible for the repairs.
Reply:No you cannot cash it and keep the money. The lienholder is the actual owner, and they will want the vehicle repaired.
If you were not at fault in the accident, make a claim against the other person's auto policy. They will pay you for the damage without putting the lienholder info on the check. They are not required by law to do so.
Reply:Yes you can do that.. I got about 800 for a scratch on my bumper, you couldn't really even see it unless you knew it was there or got up close... I decided to say screw it and keep the money...
Reply:Repairs only otherwise it is insurance fraud.
Reply:Yep, you can cash it.
My mom did the same thing some guy hit our salvage title prizm and she got like a thousand dollars for it. It was mainly cosmetic, she used it to pay bills. We still have a pretty ugly side, but she got a thousand bucks!
Reply:it has to be endorsed by the lienholder, also, to be able to cash it, if it says "and".if you get them to endorse it, you can spend it, but misuse of the funds is why insurance rates are so high.better to just get your car fixed.
Reply:If the check is made out to two parties and you attempt to cash it and are successful (without the other parties signature or with their signature forged) you will be charged with fraud and theft. And depending on the amount, you could be looking at serious jail time.
If you have a lien on the car the lien holder can require you to fix the damage to their satisfaction or you will be in violation of the contract and that would make the contract void and they can reposses the car.
You need to contact the lienholder and do what they tell you to avoid jail and losing your car.
Reply:Yes you can. I've done it twice. It won't come back to bite you unless you default on your car payments
Reply:Nope. The only way you can cash it is to send to the lienholder, have them endorse it and send it back to you. Good luck with that one. They would never do that.

How can I convert my credit card limit amount into cash?
I need to know how could I get cash from my credit card. For example, if I have a 5000 limit, how can I get all that money in cash?
I've heard I could go to the casino and pay with credit card to buy the chips to play and then I could convert them into cash, but I'm not sure if it's true or if there're other better options....
My cash advance is very little only 500 and I need more and it has to be in cash :S
Thanks guys!!
How can I convert my credit card limit amount into cash?
You could use paypal and set up two accounts, one to pay (with card) and one to accept (with your bank) However, taking a cash advance on a credit card is a very very bad financial decision.
Reply:You can go to your bank and ask for a money order in a certain amount and just write your name on it and cash it(at another bank of course) but make sure it is still your bank just another branch.
Reply:THE CASINO THING IS NOT TRUE...OTHERWISE I HAVE NO IDEAS FOR YOU

On a statement of cash flows, what do the cash and cash equivalents mean?
Also, why do you add the change in cash equivalents to the cash and cash equivalents at the beginning of the year. How do these relate to investing, financing and operating activities?
On a statement of cash flows, what do the cash and cash equivalents mean?
cash equivalent are liquid assets, this is done to determine true cash flow %26amp; how much change occured due to financing activity %26amp; how much is due to operations.
e.g. 10,000 opening cash ,
+ 5,000 cash from operation
- 12,000 financing ( loans etc given/invested)
= 3000 closing cash/equivalent
Reply:Cash and Cash Equivalents - CCE
An item on the balance sheet that reports the value of a company's assets that are cash or can be converted into cash immediately.
Cash is defined as all currency and coins and all demand deposits maintained at banking institutions.
Cash equivalents are defined as highly liquid investments that are convertible to a known amount of cash, have an original maturity of less than three months at the time of purchase and have insignificant risk of change in fair market value due to shifts in the interest rate.
Examples of cash equivalents would be cash in money market and cash invested in the Investment management Boards (IMB) polled investments.

What all is proteced in bankruptcy in TX? If you are being sued, how much cash can you keep after bankruptcy?
My family, along with their company, is being sued for nearly $2M. We, along with the company, will have to file for bankruptcy. Does bankruptcy protect some of our cash to live on, and what assets do courts typically expect to be sold off to pay the lawsuit assuming all other debts are paid?

How much cash is allowed to bring to Israel to donate?
how much cash is allowed (for donating) to bring before Homeland Security will "detain" us?
How much cash is allowed to bring to Israel to donate?

You can take out 1 million if you want to....so long as you declare it ! Authorities have no technical or legal right to ask questions about that money aside from common law questions
Into Israel
You must declare anything over 80,000 New Shekels, that's about 22k $
Reply:Friend,
I expect a safer way to donate money would be through an ATM, of which there are plenty in Israel, or look to see if your bank has a branch in Tel Aviv, where you will be landing if you are coming in internationally.
Nowadays unfortunately it is not very safe to travel with a large amount of money and transferring your money this way will save you the trouble of declaring it at customs.
Reply:It sounds like you're planning on bringing in a rather large amount of cash. Very odd. I would think it's better to bring in travellers cheques or have the money wired to you once you're inside. Never heard of anyone bringing in a suitcase full of hard cold cash. Perhaps you are money laundering?
Reply:I do not think that any country will allow huge amounts of cash to be paid away from Bank accounts. This is to ensure that there is no money laundry on the way. Normally 10000 US$ is a safe amount to handle( if not less)
Reply:They will take everything you got.

What is the easiest way and cheapest way to invest and multiply your little/hard earned cash?
Somany people find it too difficult to multiply there hard earned cash (salaries) due to lack of financial knowledge, don't know the difference between asset and liability. Is there any book that can teach best on this issue?

What a lot of people don't mention while saving is that you need to pay down high-interest debt first. If you have credit cards where you're paying 23.99% interest, you should pay those off asap, since they're costing you A LOT.
Once you have debt under control, you should create a budget for yourself to live by. money.cnn.com has an ideal budget calculator, which I use. They recommend no more than 30% of your income goes to rent %26amp; debt. 26% goes to living expenses. 4% to insurance, 25% to taxes, and 15% to a savings account.
You should then figure out how much money you spend each month, and multiply that by 6. That way, you'll have a six-month reserve in case of emergencies. With anything beyond that, you should fund some kind of an ira or 401k. Depending on your income, you should decide if you want the tax advantages of a traditional ira, where your contribution is tax-deductible, or a roth ira where your distributions aren't taxed.
You can also invest your ira in the stock market, where it'll grow quicker than in a savings account, or cd (but is a little riskier). After you do that, feel free to invest in the stock market, mutual funds, cd's, money market accounts, or anything else you like.

When you are young you should invest you free cash in your education (that may mean taking a lower paid job just to get the experience), and start saving via a high Interest Cash ISA for the house deposit
As soon as possible, invest in buying a house. As soon as possible, get a second house and do it up %26amp; rent it out or sell it on .. repeat for the next 10 years.
You will now have your first million ..

I think that, to get the best return, you have to do your own research. It is time-consuming and you have to appreciate that higher potential rewards mean a higher risk. I don't know a single book that covers every possibility in simple terms.

What is the penalties for an early withdrawl of you told 401K and company cash pention?
Due to the outsourcing of my companies manufacturing business (IMATION). I am being laid off, but as part of my severance package I am able to withdraw my cash pension, plus whatever I contributed to 401K which totals around $12,000.00. What would i end up paying if i withdraw all this and not roll it over?
What is the penalties for an early withdrawl of you told 401K and company cash pention?
YOu should roll over your pension and 401 k to a qualified plan. Your bank's financial advisor can help you with this. Do not cash them out. You'll pay up to 50% in taxes and penalties by the government. Ask an advisor before you do anything. They are free to you initially. Good Luck.
Reply:All money withdrawn from a 401k is income to be declared at tax time, you only pay the penalty clause if it is withdrawn before you are 59 1/2 and must be for specific reasons as defined by the plan. The penalty amount varies by plan but usually runs about 25%. Are you sure they are permitting you to cash it out?? or did they mean a no penalty roll-over into an IRA? My plan doesn't permit what you discribe.
Regardless, my advice; Don't cash out, roll it into an IRA or another 401k. In most cases you get more this way.
Reply:It depends on your individual policy, but usually there are huge fees and taxes for early withdrawal, up to 40% of your investment.
Unless you need the money for a specific approved purchase, like a first home, medical necessity, or college tuition, it's better to just roll it over into an IRA.

What is the difference between profits and cash flow?
Why can a company outgrow its cash? What is the relationship between profit margins and growth capacity?
What is the difference between profits and cash flow?
Profits are what you earn in your company, and you specify them on your financial statements at the time it was realized... the cash flow specifies only the movement of cash... for example...
you start a company, and you sell $3,000 in product, you are very happy!, and you spent $1,000 developing it, so your income statement will look like: (assume no tax)
Sales $3000
Cost of Goods Sold $1000
Net Income (profit) $2000
You are happy indeed, you just made $2,000, but oh wait!! when they pay you, you receive a note, so you dont actually receive cash!!!, then your balance sheet will look like
Assets
Cash $0
Notes Receivable $3,000
Total Assets $3,000
Equity (your starting cap $1,000
Retained Earnings $2,000
Total Equity $3,000
As you can see, everything seems to go well, and yet you have no cash!!! you just spent all the cash you had. Your statement of cash flows would look like this in that example...
Cash Flow
Net Income $2,000
Starting Cash $1,000
A/R -$3,000
Ending Cash $0
You just had a net "burn" of cash of $1,000, you have no growth capacity, and as im sure you have guessed by now, the growth capacity has a huge relationship with the cash flow, not with the profit margin.
Reply:Cash flow is the amount of money in and out of a company over a period of time. Revenues and expenses are cash flows. Profit however is the remaining amount of revenue after all expenses have been paid.

Is it the same to pay my daycare providor in cash as it is in checks ?
Is it the same to pay my licensed day care providor in cash as it is in checks? Im asking so that when it comes to doing my taxes I want to make sure I've done the right thing, so far I've been paying in cash and every time...My providor provides me with receipts...
Is it the same to pay my daycare providor in cash as it is in checks ?
How you pay her isn't the issue. As long as you're getting accurate receipts and saving them - you're in good shape. All the check writing does is give you back-up if you don't have other documentation.
See if she can give you one final statement acknowledging how much you paid during the year, too. It helps to have it all in case the IRS comes knocking on your door. (The Weenies!)
Reply:yes. just make sure you get a receipt
Reply:Yes, as long as you get receipts...which you said you are doing, so the tax benefits will be the same. :)
Reply:As long as you get receipts, you're OK.
Reply:Don't forget to get the providers tax ID number.

How old do I need to be to cash a check?
I am 16 and just got a check from a guy I did some work for. I want to cash the check but my parents are not home and wont be home for another 10 days. I have a valid drivers license and my own bank account (that my parents set up) at the bank. Will they let me cash my check?
How old do I need to be to cash a check?
they should. all you have to do is go to the bank and fill out a deposit slip. make sure you sign the back of your check. then give it to them. i dont think you need an ID unless your witdrawing some of the money from the check.

What is your favorite charity for giving cash and why is that one your favorite?
Which charity - specifically - would you suggest is the best to give a cash contribution. Not the United Way (as good as they are)...but a stand alone charity that is deserving of our money.
And, why do you recommend that charity?

The Salvation Army. I have worked with different organizations in local community service. The Salvation Army accepts all, helps all, and is on the scene quickly and quietly. They don't spend all their funds on advertising, their volunteers just get there and get to work. I am proud to have worked with them for over 7 years. The best and toughest job I never got paid for!!

Cash - Normally I give cash (quarterly) to the orphanages where I have my sponsored children. This money will be separated into children's welfare, education, food etc, and savings (in their accounts).
I think it is the best way to contribute the sponsored children.
I also contribute cash together with other things to a poor family in my neighborhood. This is not a regular activity as above.
Other than that I buy materials, food items etc for the needy people when I see them. There are no exact or regular person.

They get all my clothes donations and the things I thought I needed but didn't. Sometimes when the stores have really good sales at the end of the season I'll go shop just to donate new stuff. The same thing with the food shelf.

What is the best credit card reward / cash back program for buying things off eBay with Paypal?
I buy ALOT from eBay using Paypal, and I'm wondering which credit card offers the best reward (cash back or otherwise) when buying using Paypal. Thanks!
What is the best credit card reward / cash back program for buying things off eBay with Paypal?
There are credit cards that offer 1.5% - 2.0% rewards on all spending. For example, the Capital One No Hassle Miles Ultra for Professionals earns nearly 2% rewards on all spending, but the rewards have to be redeemed on airline tickets. Also, the Fidelity Investments Rewards Signature Visa earns 1.5% cash back on all spending.
You can use this rewards calculator to see which credit card will pay you the most for a given spending profile:
http://www.creditcardtuneup.com/
Incidentally, on the left hand side of that CreditCardTuneUp page toward the bottom, there's a blurb you might be interested in about BigCrumbs being able to save you 36% off your Ebay fees.
Reply:Almost any credit card is good for buying things online. Many of them have their pros and their cons. Consider going online to watch thing ones are good. Some credit cards will offer you at the most 2 percent. The ones at 3 percent only last a couple of months then you go back to 1 percent cash back. You can get one at http://www.thecardshopstore.com/ or you can get one at visa .com. Anywere you want, just make sure you look at the fine print.

How can i deposit and cash the check on the same day with washington mutual?
do i need to deposit it first and then show them the withdrawal form? or just go up and say i would like to cash this check?
thanks
How can i deposit and cash the check on the same day with washington mutual?
if you have a long standing account they will just cash the check for you. If you have a new account, or not enough money in the account to "cover" the amount of the check they will not do it. 2nd option: Go to the bank that the check is drawn on, show them 2 forms of ID and they will cash the check immediately out of the account!
Reply:Fill out the deposit slip and there should be a space for "Less Cash Back" or something like that. Put how much cash you want back in that space and the deposit amount would be the remainder of the check.
Reply:cash the check. it doesnt go through immediately if you deposit it. it goes through 24 - 48 business hours later. so just cash it.
thanks

What are some ways to make extra cash for the holiday season?
Please only honest answers here (No funny stuff, no point in wasting your time) but... I am 19 years old and really want to give my younger sisters a good Christmas..They are 14 and 16 and it's even harder to buy gifts because of their age. What are some side jobs to make extra cash for holiday shopping..I already have a plan to sell my prom and homecoming dresses on ebay..any other good ideas?
What are some ways to make extra cash for the holiday season?
Baby-sitting is pretty good, but finding jobs can be a little difficult since people like to know the person they're leaving their kids with (or at least have a good reference).
I hear sign twirling on the weekends pays pretty well, and you can pretty much listen to music the whole time and even dance around, if that's your thing.
You're thinking about putting old dresses up on ebay, which is a good plan, but also consider a plain old garage sale type thing. There's really not a ton of effort involved, and you get money for getting rid of mess.
Reply:you could work at sonic part time you get paid ok and you make tips in three days you could make 50 to 60 dollars and you can save each time you make money. but any job that gives you tip i think is a good way to make money. i work at sonic and i have money everyday.... unless i spend it.

Is there a difference between dividends and cash dividends when accounting for dividends?
I'm studying for the CFA Level I, and I thought dividends were always paid in cash, but am a bit confused since it appears that there is just a rearranging of the equity- retained earnings and paid-in capital- when accounting for dividends. Please advise. Thanks.
Is there a difference between dividends and cash dividends when accounting for dividends?
You are right. Dividends are paid out in cash. However there are usually 2 stages. First, you announce or declare the dividend to be paid on a certain date. When a corporation declares a cash dividend on its stock, its retained earnings are decreased (debited) and its current liabilities (Dividends Payable) are increased (credited). Later, when the cash dividend is actually paid, the Dividends Payable account is decreased (debited) and the corporation’s Cash account is decreased (credited).
The income statement is not affected by the declaration and payment of cash dividends on common stock. Dividends are reported in the Statement of Changes in Equity. The cash dividends will also be reported as a use of cash in the financing activities section of the cash flow statement.

Has anyone ever stuffed envelopes for extra cash?
I see these ads all the time; all you have to do is stuff envelopes and mail them off after you order the stuff from some company. It is like outsourcing. Apparently it pays really well.
I was just wondering if anyone has ever done this. It seems like a scam, but I was hoping someone could prove me wrong. I am planning a wedding and I could really use the extra cash.
Has anyone ever stuffed envelopes for extra cash?
It is a scam. You stuff money into an envelope and send it to them.
Reply:It's a scam where they tell you to place the same type of ad and then "stuff" the envelopes when people send you money requesting the same type of job.
If you need extra money try freelance writing, blogging, surveys, or selling stuff on ebay.

How much of a discount could I get paying for a house cash?
My husband and I are have land and we want a house built on it, however we want to pay cash for the house so we don't have to do financing...how much of a discount could we get that way?
How much of a discount could I get paying for a house cash?
You pay the contractors as you go. The discount will be in the form of no interest payments. But the contractors expect to be paid right away no matter what.
Reply:I would say you can get a 5% to 10% discount, since the builder knows you have the cash. You will need a letter from your banker stating that you have the assets available.
However, you do not want to pay the full amount up front. A lot of builders are going out of business and may not be around next month. You might want to check on THEIR bank and assets too.
When its time to do the job, pay a portion up front, a portion with the job half done and the portion on completion. That can be for the whole job if there is a general contractor, or for each separate job from several contractors.
Skipping the financing is a bonus for the contractor, so you will have a bit of an advantage.
Reply:From the builder? NONE!!!! He doesn't care if the money comes from you or from the bank. In fact, as a builder, I hate cash deals. We require that the full amount be put into escrow with an lawyer and we are paid in draws when a milestone is completed. The lawyer pays us directly - the same way that the bank would pay us. This way the owner (you) can't hold money back for reason that do relate to the work completed.
For example. we had a client that wouldn't pay us the draw because we wouldn't go back and change something (FOR FREE) that was already in place and had been already agreed to by the owners. (It was 3 windows in the basement that the owner didn't want, then changed their mind when the foundation was installed. It would have been cheaper to install them with the foundation pour; now we would have to cut them into place, which cost about 2000 more . . .)
EDIT: people like oahurealestate have not idea. If you were selling a car for $10,000 and the buyer could either get a loan for $10,000 or pay cash - would you discount the car (and lose) 10% ($1,000) just because they are paying cash or would you want them to get the loan. Either way you are getting paid and would turn the car over to the buyer until you got the money. I'm 100% sure you would want the buyer to get the bank loan and pay you fullprice of $10k.
Reply:Probably none whatsoever. The builder doesn't care if his check comes from you or the finance company, he still gets the same amount of money. You will however save some loan closing costs and other fees by paying cash, but if doing so you REALLY should use a good attorney to help you through this process.
Reply:Call the bank you desire to do business with and simply ask them. I'm pretty sure they'll be happy to help you. The reason I say this is because you really should have easy access to your liquid assets and there are many creative ways of dealing with building contractors especially if you're a good standin customer with the bank they use. Doesn't hurt to try.
And yes, all you little readers, I'm more than sure I'll see at least 2 thumbs down from you sweet idiots! This is a viable answer!

When all the pending earning are verified it will show on your monthly earnings. I guess you have to earn a total of $10 by the 15th of the month to get a check by the 15th of next month. I just signed up too.

What should I do if I sent cash through mail from Singapore overseas recently?
I do not know that I should not send cash through mail (unregistered) until today. Is there a chance that the mail will be delivered by Singpost to the philippines? What should I do? Pls help. Thanks!

You should learn a lesson from this mistake.
There is nothing that you can do now but hope.
Reply:"A fool and his money are soon parted."
Reply:No one should ever send cash by post. Maybe send 5 USD maximum to a friend.
-If someone wants you to send cash for a product they are scamming you and you will never see the money again or get the product
-If you are sending to a friend to help them the chances of it going missing in the post is excellent. Cash is untraceable and you will never see it again.

How can I get a small business loan? I have good credit but little cash or assetts?
I am looking into buying a small business just outside of Denver, Colorado but I have no idea where to start as far as getting a loan. I have good credit but would only be able to come up with $2,000 -$3,000 up front cash. As far as assetts, I have virtually nothing. Is a business loan even an option in this situation? I need a loan for about $230,000. The business I am looking into buying is well established and very lucrative would this factor into the loan situation?
How can I get a small business loan? I have good credit but little cash or assetts?
The truth is that it is difficult for a startup business to borrow money as a small business loan -- especially without assets and without experience in the business.
However, if you're applying for a loan and if it is a big amount, banks and even the Small Business Administration may consider the following factors:
- A business plan explaining what the business is
- Your background and experience in the business -- in my experience, this is KEY in the eyes of the bank because they want to make sure that you know what you are doing and that you can make the business work. If you don't have any experience with the business, have someone on board that knows the business to give banks assurance that someone will guide you
- Your credit factors because it shows your dependability and how well you handle credit. They will do a credit check on you and poor credit history may be frowned upon, or even reason for the disapproval of your loan application
- Your collateral. Banks, even SBA guaranteed loans, want the borrower to show collateral. They want to be guaranteed that somewhere somehow they can get payment from you
- Condition or terms of loans. Banks would want to know three important things: "How much money are you requesting? What will it be used for? and For how long will it be needed?" Banks oftentimes prefer to approve loans for items that can be identified, has lasting value, and can be repossessed and sold if things fail.
You have a very tight situation when you only have very little money and no assets. However, I suggest you talk to your local Small Business Development Center. They may be able to give you lists of banks and financial institutions in your area who may be able to give you a loan -- even if it's not a full amount. Who knows, one of the smaller local banks would be willing to take a risk on you.

'What is the fastest way to get cash using my 0 mortage home as equity?
I have clear title and owe nothing on my home in Los Angeles, CA. suburbs. I have bills due, not too bad but coming and need an influx of cash just for bills. I have no income, I have some equity in muni bonds, due to clear this month. Any suggestions?
'What is the fastest way to get cash using my 0 mortage home as equity?
A Reverse Mortage! Or better yet since you live in California, Sell the house and moved to a state were housing is cheaper. What's the average Californi home sell for these days a cool Million? My sister sold here home of 3 years in Ca. she into it for $350,000 and sold it for $750,000 she then moved to Oklahoma City, and Paid Cash for her 6000sq. ft. home with an indoor pool for $275.000 and banked the rest!
Reply:You can go to any bank and apply for a home equity loan. If you want a good interest rate you could go to a mortgage co. but its gonna cost you. Dude, if you go to a bank you could have cash in less than two weeks.
Reply:flexequity line of credit from union bank of california. let me know if you want more info.
Reply:I'm not so sure that it will be fast...But there are many financial institutions that would gladly give you a 1st mortgage providing your home meets their guideline requirements and they will pay for the closing as well...My suggestion to you... is get it with a line of credit.
Reply:TAKE AN EQUITY LOAN ON YOUR HOUSE . THE BANK CAN KNOCK IT OFF IN A WEEK OR SO . HOLD THE MUNIS AS THEY ARE GOING UP AND ALSO GET A JOB FOR INCOME . YOU MIGHT EVEN WANT TO CONSIDER SELLING THE HOUSE AS THE MARKET IS SOFTENING AND MAY GO ALOT LOWER .
Reply:Since your home is paid for, whatever it is worth is your equity. Get a home equity loan (or line of credit).
But, you'll want to watch out for the fees and interest rates!
It might not be very fast, since they may want a raft of paperwork and an appraisal...
Reply:Be safe and rent out rooms.
Without income you will find it hard to qualify, and if you do, to make regular payments to a line of credit.
Reply:Get a Home Equity Line of Credit, then borrow from that, and repay later. But most are not free. You might have to pay $50 per year, usually AFTER the first year is completed. That is part of the deal and is normal. Don't abuse it! Or they will take your house within 6 months of no payments. And they will get it.

What happens if I deposit cash the wrong way into an ATM?
Today, I was depositing cash into an ATM.
I put the money into an envelope. And put the envelope into the machine. But, just as it took the envelope, I realized that I inserted it the wrong way (arrow pointing at me instead of the machine)
What should I do?
What happens if I deposit cash the wrong way into an ATM?
don't worry about it they wil get it either way, I've done the same thing before and it makes no difference as long as the envelop is in the machine
Reply:You're fine. I used to service the ATM at my branch in the late 1980's...
As the envelope goes thru the roller into the machine, a number is imprinted across the envelope... the one one that is printed on your deposit receipt, along with a transaction number. It falls into a large, laundry-basket sized bin. Sometimes, dozens upon dozens of the envelopes are put into the machine. They fall into the bin, landing where they may.
I used to see ALL KINDS OF ENVELOPES used in the machine; it only has to be a standard-sized, letter / mailing type envelope... legal size is what is usually supplied at the machines, but just about anything that fits into that slot will work. People take tons of the envelopes, making other people having to "make do" with what they've got on hand.
If an envelope is received empty / torn up / wrong amount, they can track it to your account (remember, the receipt / transaction number is printed on the envelope...) and contact you.
Reply:Ooops. If you read the banking manual that you received when you opened your account, you'll see that if you make deposits backward into the ATM that Jimmy Hoffa (who actually LIVES in the ATM machine where you bank) will take your deposit and eat it.
I'm not sure that you CAN do anything. This is quite serious - have you called the bank? Depending upon your banking history, they may be able to coax Jimmy into giving your deposit BACK but it really depends upon how hungry he was at the time of the deposit error.
Good luck!
Reply:I think you will be okay. They all just go into the room where they get taken out and deposited. As long as you entered the amount of your deposit and kept your atm receipt you should be fine. Check your account to make sure the deposit went in, if it did, you are fine.
Reply:Nothing will happen. They give those arrows on what way to put it in just so that they don't have to sort through all the envelopes facing a bunch of different ways. In the end people open all the envelopes and process the paperwork not the ATM itself. It will be no problem.
Reply:LOL don't worry, it's not like you committed a criminal offense :P all that matters is that you put the correct amount of money in the envelope.
Reply:Prob will be fine, but more difficult for those sorting it.
but to be sure, check the money was deposited in 1 or 2 working days.
it will be fine, ur ATM registers the transaction
Reply:nothing. i used to have to empty the atm when i was a teller and balance it all the time. it was more annoying but we didn't do anything!
Reply:if everything goes according to my plan, it should go directly into my account...thank you. j/k ...it should be fine as long as it eccepted it, it went through ok.

:)
Reply:I doubt it matters, a real person has to handle the cash at some point to do the actual deposit.

Will it take long, and will they even give me that much in cash? Is there a fee if the check and bank are the same? I want to cash it so that i wont have to wait for the check to clear at my other bank.

If the check is from the bank that wrote the check there shouldnt be a problem cashing it there. There should not be any fees. When I was in college Wells Fargo Used to write our student loan checks and I cashed them there all the time with no problems or fees.

Reply:Wow. No way to know - so many charges I can think of.
It's going to depend some on if he's been in trouble before. Amount of the check.
My magic 8 ball says he's in a lot of trouble however.
Reply:Well if he knew the check was fake then he could be charged with fraud. If he didn't know and can make them believe him then there really isn't intent and he should be out soon...all of this depends of course on whether or not he has a record and the amount of the check. Did they arrest your stepson's neighbor for forgery?
Reply:Did your step-son know that it was a fake check? Did he work for the company that the check was issued to?
I am sure that it will all come out as the investigation is completed. If he did not know it was a fake check and the neighbor was giving it to him because it was money owed to him, then things will be easier on him than if he went to the bank and tried to cash it knowing that it was fake.
My advice to you is to get him a lawyer right away. Good Luck.
Reply:It all depends on the amount of the check, which determines whether the crome is a misdemenor, or a felony.
Reply:you've answered your own question. at a minimum he's going to go to prison for check fraud. The amount of the check could be a determining factor in his sentence.
Reply:Got o jail...go directly to jail...do not pass go...do not collect $200....
Reply:Get him an attorney. Did he know it was fake? This is not good and he can get some real time out of it.

not a good move to make...but if you're going to do it it can take anywhere between 5 days to 3 weeks. You'll have to ask your HR person how long it takes your plan specifically.
Reply:More important, you are cashing in your retirement to purchase a home. You should be more concerned with the penalties you will have to take for drawing on this early, as well as the tax ramifications of doing so.

Can somebody explains the difference of cash flow and accounting profit?
Can somebody tells me the Difference of cash flow and accounting profit ?
Thank you.
Can somebody explains the difference of cash flow and accounting profit?
Cash flow is actual money.
Accounting profit is an imaginary number that can be moved around by changing inventory methods, accrual vs. cash, depreciation, etc.
.
Reply:If you are speaking in regards to business; Cash flow could be described as the total amount of funds available to operate your business. This could include funds provided through bank lending as well as sales or additional revenue created by service fees, operational fess etc...
Acounting profit would be the reported amount of "Profit" after calcualting your books against your sales and operational expenses. Once you have figured in all associated cost to a service or product, paid the overhead bills, insurances and such; the remainding revenue would be reported as profit.

How can I make some extra cash here and there?
I dont need any work at home scams. I am willing to put in a few hours and actually work. I need to make an extra 100 bucks or even 50 a week to have a little extra cash. I live in Jersey so please help !
How can I make some extra cash here and there?
1. WelI I actually take surveys for cash. And yes they do pay as long as you know the good ones. I have some free survey sites that are very reliable just check out my profile by clicking my name or email me for them. I only give sites that I've been paid by so you won't get scammed. They're all reliable and I've never had a problem with them. (I've been doing them for a year now) The best part is that anyone can do them and they're easy. You won't get rich but they definitely help with bills :)
2. Btw a lot of the ones above are spammers and I wouldn't trust them
Reply:go to your library and look for at home jobs even do medical transcriprts for doctors but you have to have a little training from a school which you can do at home you make pretty good money doing that or call your local college they might have leads on how you can get a home business on the side you might have to get a little training but hey in the end its worth it good luck
Reply:This is a really cool way to make some extra cash!
You’re probably not going to get rich beyond your wildest dreams, but it is possible to earn thousands of dollars a month doing this.
It is completely free and takes about a minute to set-up.
Once you’ve set it up and running, it makes you money on autopilot, doesn’t require any work or investment, so is completely risk free.
It’s by far the easiest way to make money I have ever come across!
Give it a try by - http://www.payday2006.com/FreeMoney.htm
Be sure to spread the word, tell all your friends, the more people that get involved, the more you will earn :)
Reply:The best source to make money very easy is called project-payday. I myself made over 1.5k$ in my first month using it.
I know people that make 3k there.
Also great is, that you don't have to invest much time in it, and still make money.

How can i make some extra cash from home?
I've heard about all these ways you can make money from home and i've even tried it, but it dosent seem to be working the way it is for other people. for example i tried the whole online survey thing...signed up with lots of different websites....but i just dont see how people are making anywhere from 400-1,000 extra bucks a month with these website? Can someone please tell me more or less how it all works, and if there are some ligit sites out there that really allow you to make all that extra cash? Thank you!
How can i make some extra cash from home?
Well, the best way to make money from home is to sit down and identify what it is you're passionate about. Whether it be cooking, writing, sewing, giving advice, taking care of children, etc. Once you find your niche, then you can utilize tools such as the internet, or local advertising, to create a demand for your product or service. Examples include starting a daycare service, opening an eBay store that carries your favorite items, creating a blog from which you sell advertisments, beginning a cake baking and decorating business, displaying and selling your artwork.
I have friends that have been profitable from their homes in each of these ways. But, overall, the key to profitability from home is getting in touch with your niche interests and making them profitable.
Obviously, this is far from a get rich quick scheme. But, reality is that what you reap is what you sow. Might as well be sowing something you're passionate about.
Reply:I know the problem there are so many of these so called opportunities out there and so many, if they are not scams, fail to teach people how to be successful properly.
There is one however that has been endorsed by the billionaire Donald Trump for its ethics, honesty and integrity, he researched it for about 2 years before he recommended it as probably the best in the world today.
Take a look at this web site www.iolair.acnrep.com, here you will find an overview of what this is all about, also if you would like to explore the opportunity further click on my screen name and email me and I will be delighted to show you exactly how you can earn a substantial residual based income.
Reply:They are for the most part, scams. Don't even go to their sites, you'll end up with a ton of pop-ups.
Reply:Think about it. If all these sites were legit, who'd be poor? Most of these sites make money by suckering in dumb, naive, desperate souls, and then try to get you to do the same. Be smart and don't fall for it.
There are bona fide ways to make plenty of cash from home. Most involve work, perseverance and savvy. Research on your own, don't trust "testimonials" from sites. Think about your interests, assets, abilities and the amount of time you have available.
Reply:The truth is people don't make that much money from doing surveys and e mails. If it was that easy everybody would be doing it. Even the ones that do pay out are usually more money than they are worth.
Reply:you can sell stuffs on e-bay, or buy low and sell high(buy cheap stuffs in bulk and sell them piece by piece on ebay, profit = differnt) of course all get rich quick scheme are risky and require you put in a lot of money at the get go, so... good luck.

Ive signed up with tons and have yet to see any money. I think it all a runaround. Let me know how it goes.

I made some nice money at first, but once I found out these sites were legitimate, I started adding referrals and the money got a lot better. For every person you refer, you get 20% of what they earn on 2 of these sites. And for every person that one of your referrals refer, you get 10% on one site and 5% on the other. In time--this could be a great source of income--making money while other people are in a sense, working for you.
If you get 5 referrals who earn $20 a month, that is an extra $20 in your pocket. If you get 100 referrals earning $20 a month, that is an extra $400 you'll earn every month!!!
And by the way--never join a work at home program that wants you to pay up front. If they were making that much money, they wouldn't need to charge you.
Note: There are a lot of other sites listed too as well as the payout for each. And if you sign up with me, I can send you a guide I have written that details everything I have done and lots of links, adding your sites to search engines, etc.
Reply:First off, no survey company can possibly give you 400 to 1000 a month. I have signed up for survey companies, and believe me it takes quite a while to build up money in order to be paid. In all the companies I've gone through, only two have really been worth the effort since they actually pay.
Mysurvey.com pays in increments of $10 for every 1000 points you earn on their site by completing surveys. Their surveys usually give you quite a few points, so getting money from them is pretty easy.
The other site I go to, Globaltestmarket.com pays in increments of $50 for every 1000 points. However, their point system is harder to earn. It normally takes me about two months to earn those $50 and usually another two weeks for it to arrive.
I have another survey site that's relatively good, but it doesn't pay straight out money, instead it gives you points for prizes, and I don't think that's what you're interested in.
But back to your question. Besides those two survey sites, I haven't found any other decent places. And chances are, you won't find any legit sites to make extra cash. Especially not in the amounts they tell you that you'll get. My best advice would be to do some chores that no one wants to do and charge them for it to get extra cash.
Hope that helped ^____^
