How can I get cash with a 0 interest credit card? 0 interest is usually only for transfers. I need the cash.?

I don't have any balances to transfer. But, I sure would love the cash at 0% interest to invest in a treasury note for a year. Any suggestions.

Reply:CALL THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY.....THEY WILL DO A TRANSFER TO YOUR ACCOUNT OVER THE PHONE....THERE IS A 33% UP FRONT CHARGE FOR THE CHECK TRANSFER....SOMETIMES THEY SEND THEM AND YOU CAN DEPOSIT IT YOURSELF...AGAIN THERES A 33 PERCENT CHARGE. AND YOU ALSO HAVE TO MAKE PAYMENTS TO REPAY THE AMOUNT BACK TO THEM.
Reply:Ah, you want to make a money machine?

So would I, but there is no free lunch. I have never heard of any credit institution that will issue you a 0% credit card that you can get free cash on. There are many wild promotions. But I don't think you can find what you are looking for.
Reply:There's a way, but depends on your score. If you have great score, try to apply for Citibank Platinum Select mastercard . Currently they are giving 0% on balance transfer with no fee. Plus they give you an option to request a check to your own name under balance transfer term. You can use it for anything , including deposit into your bank account .
Reply:If the credit card co. sent you a transfer check. Make the check out to your bank and deposit into your account. start with a small amount and check to see if they charged you. Then try a larger amount. They may charge a balance transfer fee but still get the 0%. It has worked for me in the past.
