My fiance' is in Nigeria Africa and has been there since September on business. He will finally get to come home in June. But the business he works for won't give him cash or buy his plane ticket and the rest cash. So what is he to do? He is from the UK and plans to come to the states 1st then go back and gather his things and get his daughter and come back here so we can be married. The big problem now is getting the check cashed to get a plane ticket. Neither one of us has a credit card. We need answers. Help!!!
How can a person overseas cash a paycheck to come home on when they don't have a bank account?
Well, he could sign it over to you and then you could deposit it into your bank, buy his ticket and wire him money.

Reply:He needs either to open a bank account in Nigeria, or get a credit card. If he has a paycheck in hand, opening a bank account should be straightforward.
