I am 16 and just got a check from a guy I did some work for. I want to cash the check but my parents are not home and wont be home for another 10 days. I have a valid drivers license and my own bank account (that my parents set up) at the bank. Will they let me cash my check?

they should. all you have to do is go to the bank and fill out a deposit slip. make sure you sign the back of your check. then give it to them. i dont think you need an ID unless your witdrawing some of the money from the check.
