Working for an independent consultant and he paid me with a check from his Business Credit Card account. Will somewhere like Ace Check Cashing cash this check? Thanks!

i don't think they will. because a credit card check is borrowed money and the check has to clear before they are releasing the funds to you. the only way you could cash that check is to deposit it in your bank account and wait till it clears. or better yet cash it in the bank where he has his credit card account at.
if you don't have a bank account then you would have to open an account with that check, unfortunately there will be a hold on that check because of three things, it is a credit card check (uncollected funds), you are cashing it with a new account, and the check is out of state. the hold will typically be at least 2 weeks.
Reply:the best place is your bank, where they know you. if you don't have a bank account anywhere, then you will just have to try at different places.
Reply:your bank will be able to cash it . . it's no different from a regular check . .
